Through Buddy Productions, I’ve been lucky to dive into AFL sports media with Back to the Bench TV – a social media platform that engages with AFL supporters through interviews and interactive content. They produce on-location fan cam videos where the crew interviews fans about their favourite teams and AFL experiences.

Back to the Bench is all about authentic fan engagement, capturing the real opinions, reactions, and spirit of AFL supporters right where the action happens.

In this collaboration, I handle the on-location filming and editing of fan cam videos where the BTTB crew chats with fans about their favorite teams, big moments, and season highs. It’s been an amazing opportunity to work with personalities like Australian singer Sean Millis and AFL legend Robert DiPierdomenico, creating videos that really connect with viewers. Each one brings in thousands of views, showing just how much the AFL community loves sharing in the excitement.
